Education & Training
After attending elementary, middle, and high school here in NYC, Dr. Fung got his first taste of suburban life at the University of Buffalo (SUNY) where he majored in Biological Sciences with a concentration in Pre-Health. His deep admiration of NYC lured him back to the Big Apple, where he obtained his Doctor of Dental Surgery from NYU College of Dentistry.
Dr. Fung completed his General Practice Residency at NYU Langone Health (formerly NYU Lutheran Medical Center) in Sunset Park, Brooklyn, where he was able to provide comprehensive dental care to a diverse population of patients. After a successful completion of his first year in GPR, he was selected to be a Chief Resident, where he furthered his dental education with focuses on advanced procedures such as root canal therapy, surgical extractions, esthetics, implant placements, and implant restorations.
